I noticed that on our chat groups, my friends and I frequently discuss the needs of people at work. Learning to manage a team means remembering how it was to be a newbie, and realising that your task is both to sympathise and extract excellence— all the while coming to terms with the changes that this new reality brings to your own life. I’m still humbly learning... and that must mean that just like them, I am growing.
